I'm so excited to hear about taking down your walkway. It looks like it was hard work. I wonder if the posts were set in cement. Did you have to dig out cement under the walkway? It looks like it was hard work. Good thing you had yummy donuts afterward!
Isaac says: "Yes, it was hard work and the posts were in cement. When we took down the walk way we left the cement in the ground for most of the posts and only one of the posts we digged the cement out. So the cement isn't in the ground for that post. Yes, the donuts were yummy!"
Isaac, I really like your drawing of the walkway being taken down. I'll bet you had fun helping to do that! Is the walkway going to be replaced by a sidewalk?
Isaac says: "I had fun taking down the walk way and I loosened the walkway up. No, the walk way isn't going to be replaced by a sidewalk. It will be replaced by a stone path."
That sounds like a lot of work, but also a very yummy treat afterwards! Me and Scott had pancakes with Maple Syrup last night and it reminded us of you guys in Vermont!
Isaac, your picture does look like hard work. I have tried to take posts out in my back yard and in the end I left the cement too. I hope you like the new stone path!

DeleteDonuts dipped in maple syrup? I've never done that. It sounds really good.
